And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

And ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª saidª° unto him, Thy nameª [is] Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב:ª thy nameª shall not¹ be calledª° any more¹ Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב,ª but¹¹ Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלª shall be¹ thy name:ª and he calledª°¹ his nameª Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל.ª
