And she said to her father, Let not my lord be angry that I cannot rise up before thee; for the manner of women is upon me. And he searched, but found not the teraphim.

And she saidª° to¹ her father,ª Let it not¹ displeaseªª° my lordª that¹ I cannotª°¹ rise upª° before¹¹ thee;² for¹ the customª of womenª [is] upon me. And he searched,ª° but foundª° not¹¹ the images.ª

And shee saidª° to¹ her father,ª Let it not¹ displeaseªª° my lord,ª that¹ I cannotª°¹ rise vpª° before¹¹ thee;² for¹ the customeª of womenª is vpon mee: and he searched,ª° but foundª° not¹¹ the images.ª

And she said to her father, Be not indignant, Sir; I cannot rise up before thee, for it is with me according to the manner of women. Laban searched in all the house, and found not the images.
