And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place. And they will slay me for my wife's sake.

And Abrahamª said,ª° Because¹ I thought,ª° Surelyª the fearª of Godª [is] not¹ in this¹ place;ª and they will slay¹ me²° for¹ my wife'sª sake.ª

And Abraham{gr.Abraam} said, Why I said, Surely there is not the worship of God in this place, and they will slay me because of my wife.
