Titus 3

1 Titus is yet further directed by Paul, both concerning the things he should teach, and not teach. 10 He is willed also to reject obstinate hereticks: 12 which done, he appointeth him both time and place, wherein he should come unto him, and so concludeth.

 3:1 Remind 5279 them to be subject 5293 to rulers 746, to authorities 1849, to be obedient 3980, to be ready 2092 for every 3956 good 18 deed 2041,

 3:2 to malign 987 no 3367 one 3367, to be peaceable 269, gentle 1933, showing 1731 every 3956 consideration 4240 for all 3956 men 444.

 3:3 For we also 2532 once 4218 were foolish 453 ourselves 2249, disobedient 545, deceived 4105, enslaved 1398 to various 4164 lusts 1939 and pleasures 2237, spending 1236 our life 1236 in malice 2549 and envy 5355, hateful 4767, hating 3404 one 240 another 240.

 3:4 But when 3753 the kindness 5544 of God 2316 our Savior 4990 and [His] love 5363 for mankind 5363 appeared 2014,

 3:5 He saved 4982 us, not on the basis 1537 of deeds 2041 which 3739 we have done 4160 in righteousness 1343, but according 2596 to His mercy 1656, by the washing 3067 of regeneration 3824 and renewing 342 by the Holy 40 Spirit 4151,

 3:6 whom 3739 He poured 1632a out upon us richly 4146 through 1223 Jesus 2424 Christ 5547 our Savior 4990,

 3:7 so 2443 that being justified 1344 by His grace 5485 we would be made 1096 heirs 2818 according 2596 to [the] hope 1680 of eternal 166 life 2222.

 3:8 This 3588 is a trustworthy 4103 statement 3056; and concerning 4012 these 3778 things 3778 I want 1014 you to speak 1226 confidently 1226, so 2443 that those 3588 who have believed 4100 God 2316 will be careful 5431 to engage 4291b in good 2570 deeds 2041. These 3778 things 3778 are good 2570 and profitable 5624 for men 444.

 3:9 But avoid 4026 foolish 3474 controversies 2214 and genealogies 1076 and strife 2054 and disputes 3163 about the Law 3544, for they are unprofitable 512 and worthless 3152.

 3:10 Reject 3868 a factious 141 man 444 after 3326 a first 1520 and second 1208 warning 3559,

 3:11 knowing 3609a that such 5108 a man 5108 is perverted 1612 and is sinning 264, being 1510 self-condemned 843.

 3:15 ¶ All 3956 who 3588 are with me greet 782 you. Greet 782 those 3588 who love 5368 us in [the] faith 4102. ¶ Grace 5485 be with you all 3956.
