Nehemiah 11

1 The rulers, voluntary men, and the tenth man chosen by lot, dwell at Jerusalem. 3 A catalogue of their names. 20 The residue dwell in other cities.

 11:1 Now the leaders 8269 of the people 5971a lived 3427 in Jerusalem 3389, but the rest 7605 of the people 5971a cast 5307 lots 1486 to bring 935 one 259 out of ten 6235 to live 3427 in Jerusalem 3389, the holy 6944 city 5892b, while nine-tenths 8672 [remained] in the [other] cities 5892b.

 11:2 And the people 5971a blessed 1288 all 3605 the men 376 who volunteered 5068 to live 3427 in Jerusalem 3389.

 11:3 ¶ Now these 428 are the heads 7218 of the provinces 4082 who 834 lived 3427 in Jerusalem 3389, but in the cities 5892b of Judah 3063 each 376 lived 3427 on his own property 272 in their cities 5892b—the Israelites 3478, the priests 3548, the Levites 3881, the temple 5411 servants 5411 and the descendants 1121 of Solomon’s 8010 servants 5650.

 11:4 Some 4480 of the sons 1121 of Judah 3063 and some 4480 of the sons 1121 of Benjamin 1144 lived 3427 in Jerusalem 3389. From the sons 1121 of Judah 3063: Athaiah 6265 the son 1121 of Uzziah 5818, the son 1121 of Zechariah 2148a, the son 1121 of Amariah 568, the son 1121 of Shephatiah 8203, the son 1121 of Mahalalel 4111, of the sons 1121 of Perez 6557;

 11:5 and Maaseiah 4641 the son 1121 of Baruch 1263, the son 1121 of Col-hozeh 3626, the son 1121 of Hazaiah 2382, the son 1121 of Adaiah 5718, the son 1121 of Joiarib 3080, the son 1121 of Zechariah 2148a, the son 1121 of the Shilonite 7888.

 11:6 All 3605 the sons 1121 of Perez 6557 who lived 3427 in Jerusalem 3389 were 468 702 3967 8346 8083 able 2428 men 376.

 11:7 ¶ Now these 428 are the sons 1121 of Benjamin 1144: Sallu 5543b the son 1121 of Meshullam 4918, the son 1121 of Joed 3133, the son 1121 of Pedaiah 6305, the son 1121 of Kolaiah 6964, the son 1121 of Maaseiah 4641, the son 1121 of Ithiel 384, the son 1121 of Jeshaiah 3470a;

 11:11 Seraiah 8304 the son 1121 of Hilkiah 2518, the son 1121 of Meshullam 4918, the son 1121 of Zadok 6659, the son 1121 of Meraioth 4812, the son 1121 of Ahitub 285, the leader 5057 of the house 1004 of God 430,

 11:12 and their kinsmen 251 who performed 6213a the work 4399 of the temple 1004, 822 8083 3967 6242 8147; and Adaiah 5718 the son 1121 of Jeroham 3395, the son 1121 of Pelaliah 6421, the son 1121 of Amzi 557, the son 1121 of Zechariah 2148a, the son 1121 of Pashhur 6583, the son 1121 of Malchijah 4441,

 11:13 and his kinsmen 251, heads 7218 of fathers’ 1 [households], 242 3967 705 8147; and Amashsai 6023 the son 1121 of Azarel 5832, the son 1121 of Ahzai 273, the son 1121 of Meshillemoth 4919, the son 1121 of Immer 564,

 11:14 and their brothers 251, valiant 2428 warriors 1368, 128 3967 6242 8083. And their overseer 6496 was Zabdiel 2068, the son 1121 of Haggedolim 1896b.

 11:15 ¶ Now from the Levites 3881: Shemaiah 8098 the son 1121 of Hasshub 2815, the son 1121 of Azrikam 5840, the son 1121 of Hashabiah 2811, the son 1121 of Bunni 1138;

 11:16 and Shabbethai 7678 and Jozabad 3107, from the leaders 7218 of the Levites 3881, who were in charge 5921 of the outside 2435 work 4399 of the house 1004 of God 430;

 11:17 and Mattaniah 4983 the son 1121 of Mica 4316, the son 1121 of Zabdi 2067, the son 1121 of Asaph 623, who was the leader 7218 in beginning 8462 the thanksgiving 3034 at prayer 8605, and Bakbukiah 1229, the second 4932 among 4480 his brethren 251; and Abda 5653 the son 1121 of Shammua 8051, the son 1121 of Galal 1559, the son 1121 of Jeduthun 3038.

 11:18 All 3605 the Levites 3881 in the holy 6944 city 5892b [were] 284 3967 8084 702.

 11:19 ¶ Also the gatekeepers 7778, Akkub 6126, Talmon 2929 and their brethren 251 who kept 8104 watch 8104 at the gates 8179, [were] 172 3967 7657 8147.

 11:20 The rest 7605 of Israel 3478, of the priests 3548 [and] of the Levites 3881, [were] in all 3605 the cities 5892b of Judah 3063, each 376 on his own inheritance 5159.

 11:21 But the temple 5411 servants 5411 were living 3427 in Ophel 6077, and Ziha 6727 and Gishpa 1658 were in charge 5921 of the temple 5411 servants 5411.

 11:22 ¶ Now the overseer 6496 of the Levites 3881 in Jerusalem 3389 was Uzzi 5813 the son 1121 of Bani 1137, the son 1121 of Hashabiah 2811, the son 1121 of Mattaniah 4983, the son 1121 of Mica 4316, from the sons 1121 of Asaph 623, who were the singers 7891 for the service 4399 of the house 1004 of God 430.

 11:23 For [there was] a commandment 4687 from the king 4428 concerning 5921 them and a firm 548 regulation 548 for the song 7891 leaders 7891 day 3117 by day 3117.

 11:26 and in Jeshua 3091, in Moladah 4137 and Beth-pelet 1046,

 11:27 and in Hazar-shual 2705, in Beersheba 884 and its towns 1323,

 11:28 and in Ziklag 6860, in Meconah 4368 and in its towns 1323,

 11:29 and in En-rimmon 5884, in Zorah 6881 and in Jarmuth 3412,

 11:30 Zanoah 2182, Adullam 5725, and their villages 2691b, Lachish 3923 and its fields 7704, Azekah 5825 and its towns 1323. So they encamped 2583 from Beersheba 884 as far 5704 as the valley 1516 of Hinnom 2011.

 11:31 The sons 1121 of Benjamin 1144 also [lived] from Geba 1387 [onward], at Michmash 4363 and Aija 5857, at Bethel 1008 and its towns 1323,

 11:32 at Anathoth 6068, Nob 5011, Ananiah 6055,

 11:33 Hazor 2674, Ramah 7414, Gittaim 1664,

 11:34 Hadid 2307, Zeboim 6650, Neballat 5041,

 11:35 Lod 3850a and Ono 207, the valley 1516 of craftsmen 2796.

 11:36 From the Levites 3881, [some] divisions 4256 in Judah 3063 belonged to Benjamin 1144.
