Judges 4

1 Deborah and Barak deliver Israel from Jabin and Sisera. 18 Jael killeth Sisera.

 4:1 Then the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 again 3254 did 6213a evil 7451a in the sight 5869 of the LORD 3068, after Ehud 164 died 4191.

 4:2 And the LORD 3068 sold 4376 them into the hand 3027 of Jabin 2985 king 4428 of Canaan 3667a, who 834 reigned 4427a in Hazor 2674; and the commander 8269 of his army 6635 was Sisera 5516, who 834 lived 3427 in Harosheth-hagoyim 2800 1471.

 4:3 The sons 1121 of Israel 3478 cried 6817 to the LORD 3068; for he had nine 8672 hundred 3967 iron 1270 chariots 7393, and he oppressed 3905 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 severely 2394 for twenty 6242 years 8141.

 4:4 ¶ Now Deborah 1683, a prophetess 5031, the wife 802 of Lappidoth 3941, was judging 8199 Israel 3478 at that time 6256.

 4:17 ¶ Now Sisera 5516 fled 5127 away on foot 7272 to the tent 168 of Jael 3278 the wife 802 of Heber 2268 the Kenite 7017, for [there was] peace 7965 between 996 Jabin 2985 the king 4428 of Hazor 2674 and the house 1004 of Heber 2268 the Kenite 7017.

 4:23 ¶ So God 430 subdued 3665 on that day 3117 Jabin 2985 the king 4428 of Canaan 3667a before 6440 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478.

 4:24 The hand 3027 of the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 pressed 1980 heavier 1980 and heavier 7186 upon Jabin 2985 the king 4428 of Canaan 3667a, until 5704 834 they had destroyed 3772 Jabin 2985 the king 4428 of Canaan 3667a.
