And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.

Andª he saidª° unto me,ª Theseª sayingsª [are] faithfulª andª true:ª andª the Lordª Godª of the¹ holyª prophetsª sentª° his²¹ angelª to shewª° unto his²¹ servantsª the things whichª mustª° shortlyªª be done.ª°

And he said to me, These sayings are faithfulness and truth. And the Lord God of the spirit of the prophets hath sent me, his angel, to show to his servants the things which must soon be done.

Καὶ εἶπέν μοι Οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι πιστοὶ καὶ ἀληθινοί, καὶ ὁ κύριος, ὁ θεὸς τῶν πνευμάτων τῶν προφητῶν, ἀπέστειλεν τὸν ἄγγελον αὐτοῦ δεῖξαι τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ ἃ δεῖ γενέσθαι ἐν τάχει:

And it-had-said unto-me, The-ones-these the-ones forthees trusted and un-secluded-belonged-to, and the-one Authority-belonged, the-one a-Deity of-the-ones of-currentings-to of-the-ones of-declarers-before, it-set-off to-the-one to-a-messenger of-it to-have-shown unto-the-ones unto-bondees of-it to-which it-bindeth to-have-had-became in unto-a-quickness;
