And it was given [unto him] to give breath to it, [even] to the image to the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as should not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Andª he² had powerª°¹ to giveª° lifeª unto the¹ imageª of the¹ beast,ª thatª the¹ imageª of the¹ beastª should²° bothª speak,ª° andª causeª° that as many asª¹ would²²° notª worshipª° the¹ imageª of the¹ beastª should¹ be killed.ª²°

And it was given to him to give spirit to the image of the beast of prey, [that the image also of the beast of prey should speak,] and to cause that all those whosoever who worshipped not the image of the beast of prey should be killed.

And it was given him to put life into the image of the beast of prey; and to cause that all they who would not worship the image of the beast of prey, should be slain:

καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτῇ δοῦναι πνεῦμα τῇ εἰκόνι τοῦ θηρίου, ἵνα καὶ λαλήσῃ ἡ εἰκὼν τοῦ θηρίου καὶ ποιήσῃ [ἵνα] ὅσοι ἐὰν μὴ προσκυνήσωσιν τῇ εἰκόνι τοῦ θηρίου ἀποκτανθῶσιν.

And it-was-given unto-it* to-have-had-given to-a-currenting-to unto-the-one unto-a-resemblance of-the-one of-a-beastlet, so and it-might-have-spoke-unto, the-one a-resemblance of-the-one of-a-beastlet, and it-might-have-done-unto [so] which-a-which if-ever lest they-might-have-kissed-toward-unto unto-the-one unto-a-resemblance of-the-one of-a-beastlet they-might-have-been-killed-off.
