I know thy works, and thy toil and patience, and that thou canst not bear evil men, and didst try them that call themselves apostles, and they are not, and didst find them false;

I knowª° thyª works,ª andª thyª labour,ª andª thyª patience,ª andª howª thou canstª° notª bearª° them which are evil:ª andª thou hast triedª° them which sayª° they areª° apostles,ª andª areª° not,ª andª hast foundª° themª liars:ª

I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and (that) thou canst not bear evils; and hast tried those who say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars.

Οἶδα τὰ ἔργα σου, καὶ τὸν κόπον καὶ τὴν ὑπομονήν σου, καὶ ὅτι οὐ δύνῃ βαστάσαι κακούς, καὶ ἐπείρασας τοὺς λέγοντας ἑαυτοὺς ἀποστόλους, καὶ οὐκ εἰσίν, καὶ εὗρες αὐτοὺς ψευδεῖς:

I-had-come-to-see to-the-ones to-works of-thee, and to-the-one to-a-fell and to-the-one to-a-staying-under of-thee, and to-which-a-one not thou-might-able to-have-carried-to to-disrupted, and thou-pierced-to to-the-ones to-forthing to-selves to-setees-off, and not they-be, and thou-had-found to-them to-false;
