And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:

Andª thisª isª° the¹ confidenceª thatª we haveª° inª him,ª that,ª ifª we askª° any thingª accordingª to his²¹ will,ª he hearethª° us:ª

Andª thisª isª° the¹ confidenceª thatª we haueª° inª him,ª thatª ifª wee askeª° any thingª accordingª to his²¹ will,ª hee hearethª° vs.ª

And this is the assurance that we have toward him, that all that we ask of him according to his will, he heareth us.

And this is the confidence that we have towards him, that whatever we ask of him, agreeably to his will, he heareth us.

καὶ αὕτη ἐστὶν ἡ παρρησία ἣν ἔχομεν πρὸς αὐτόν, ὅτι ἐάν τι αἰτώμεθα κατὰ τὸ θέλημα αὐτοῦ ἀκούει ἡμῶν.
