For, All flesh is as grass, And all the glory thereof as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower falleth:

Forª allª fleshª [is] asª grass,ª andª allª the gloryª of manª asª the flowerª of grass.ª The¹ grassª withereth,ª° andª the¹ flowerª thereofª falleth away:ª°

Because all flesh is grass, and all its beauty as the flower of the field. The grass withereth and the flower drieth up,

διότι πᾶσα σὰρξ ὡς χόρτος, καὶ πᾶσα δόξα αὐτῆς ὡς ἄνθος χόρτου ἐξηράνθη ὁ χόρτος, καὶ τὸ ἄνθος ἐξέπεσεν:

through-to-which-a-one all a-flesh as a-victualage, and all a-recognition of-it as a-flower of-a-victualage, it-was-dried the-one victualage, and the-one a-flower it-had-fallen-out;
