Or think ye that the scripture speaketh in vain? Doth the spirit which he made to dwell in us long unto envying?

² Do ye¹ thinkª° thatª the¹ scriptureª saithª° in vain,ª The¹ spiritª thatª dwellethª° inª usª lustethª° toª envy?ª

² Doe ye¹ thinkeª° thatª the¹ Scriptureª saithª° in vaine,ª the¹ spiritª thatª dwellethª° inª vsª lustethª° toª enuy?ª

Or do you vainly think that the scripture saith, that In emulation desireth the Spirit who dwelleth in us?

Or think ye, that the scripture hath vainly said: The spirit dwelling in us lusteth with envy?

ἢ δοκεῖτε ὅτι κενῶς ἡ γραφὴ λέγει Πρὸς φθόνον ἐπιποθεῖ τὸ πνεῦμα ὃ κατῴκισεν ἐν ἡμῖν;

Or ye-think-unto to-which-a-one unto-empty the-one a-scribing it-fortheth, Toward to-an-envying it-yearneth-upon-unto, the-one a-currenting-to, to-which it-housed-down-to in unto-us?
