Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

Furthermoreª² we have hadª° fathersª of ourª fleshª which correctedª [us], andª we gave [them] reverence:ª° shall we²° notª muchª ratherª be in subjectionª° unto the¹ Fatherª of spirits,ª andª live?ª°

Furthermore,ª² wee haue hadª° fathersª of ourª flesh,ª which correctedª vs, andª we gaue them reuerence:ª° shall we²° notª muchª ratherª bee in subiectionª° vnto the¹ Fatherª of Spirits,ª andª liue?ª°

And if (when) the fathers of the flesh have chastised us we have revered them, how much more are we bound to be subject to our spiritual fathers, that we may live?

And if our fathers of the flesh chastened us, and we revered them, how much more ought we to be submissive to our spiritual fathers, and live?

εἶτα τοὺς μὲν τῆς σαρκὸς ἡμῶν πατέρας εἴχομεν παιδευτὰς καὶ ἐνετρεπόμεθα: οὐ πολὺ μᾶλλον ὑποταγησόμεθα τῷ πατρὶ τῶν πνευμάτων καὶ ζήσομεν;

If-to-the-ones to-the-ones indeed of-the-one of-a-flesh of-us to-fathers we-were-holding to-childers-of and we-were-turning-in, not to-much more-such we-shall-have-been-arranged-under unto-the-one unto-a-Father of-the-ones of-currentings-to and we-shall-life-unto?
