and ye have forgotten the exhortation which reasoneth with you as with sons, My son, regard not lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art reproved of him;

Andª ye have forgottenª° the¹ exhortationª whichª speakethª° unto youª asª unto children,ª Myª son,ª despiseª° notª thou²° the chasteningª of the Lord,ª norª faintª° when thou art rebukedª° ofª him:ª

Andª ye haue forgottenª° the¹ exhortationª whichª speakethª° vnto youª asª vnto children,ª Myª sonne,ª despiseª° notª thou²° the chasteningª of the Lord,ª norª faintª° when thou art rebukedª° ofª him.ª

And ye have forgotten the instruction of him who, as unto children, hath said to you, My son, contemn not the discipline of the Lord, and let not thy soul fail when by him thou art corrected:

And ye have forgotten the monition, which saith to you, as to children, My son, disregard not the chastening of the Lord; nor let thy soul faint, when thou art rebuked by him.

καὶ ἐκλέλησθε τῆς παρακλήσεως, ἥτις ὑμῖν ὡς υἱοῖς διαλέγεται, υἱέ μου, μὴ ὀλιγώρει παιδείας Κυρίου, μηδὲ ἐκλύου ὑπ' αὐτοῦ ἐλεγχόμενος:

and ye-had-come-to-be-secluded-out of-the-one of-a-calling-beside, which-a-one unto-ye as unto-sons it-fortheth-through, Son of-me, lest thou-should-little-hour-unto of-a-childing-of of-Authority-belonged, lest-moreover thou-should-be-loosed-out under of-it being-confuted;
