Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Whereforeª seeing we¹ alsoª are²° compassed aboutª°² with¹ so greatª a cloudª of witnesses,ª let²° us² lay asideª° everyª weight,ª andª the sinª which doth so easily besetª [us], and¹ let us runª° withª patienceª the¹ raceª that is set beforeª° us,ª

Wherefore we also, having all these witnesses, who as clouds encompass us, will set ourselves loose from every weight, and the sin which at all time is prepared for us, and with perseverance will we run this race which is appointed to us.

Therefore let us also, who have all these witnesses surrounding us like clouds, cast from us all encumbrances, and sin, which is always prepared for us; and let us run with patience the race that is appointed for us.

Τοιγαροῦν καὶ ἡμεῖς, τοσοῦτον ἔχοντες περικείμενον ἡμῖν νέφος μαρτύρων, ὄγκον ἀποθέμενοι πάντα καὶ τὴν εὐπερίστατον ἁμαρτίαν, δι' ὑπομονῆς τρέχωμεν τὸν προκείμενον ἡμῖν ἀγῶνα,

Unto-the-one-therefore-accordingly and we to-the-one-which-the-one-this holding to-situating-about unto-us to-a-cloud of-witnesses, to-a-bulging having-had-placed-off to-all and to-the-one to-goodly-standable-about to-an-un-adjusting-along-unto, through of-a-staying-under we-might-circuit to-the-one to-situating-before unto-us to-a-struggling,
