And inasmuch as [it is] not without the taking of an oath

Andª inasmuch asªª notª withoutª an oathª [he was made priest]:

Andª in as much asªª notª withoutª an otheª [he was made Priest],

And he hath confirmed it unto us in an oath.

And he confirmed it to us by an oath.

Καὶ καθ' ὅσον οὐ χωρὶς ὁρκωμοσίας, (οἱ μὲν γὰρ χωρὶς ὁρκωμοσίας εἰσὶν ἱερεῖς γεγονότες,

And down to-which-a-which not of-spaced of-a-fencee-oathing-unto, (the-ones indeed therefore of-spaced of-a-fencee-oathing-unto they-be sacreders-of having-hath-had-come-to-become,
