But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak:

Butª beloued,ª wee are perswadedª° better thingsª ofª you,ª andª things that accompanyª° saluation,ª thoughª we²° thusª speake.ª°

But we are persuaded concerning you, my brethren, those things which are good, and that draw nigh unto salvation, though thus we speak.

But, in regard to you, my brethren, we are persuaded better things, and things pertaining to life, although we thus speak.

Πεπείσμεθα δὲ περὶ ὑμῶν, ἀγαπητοί, τὰ κρείσσονα καὶ ἐχόμενα σωτηρίας, εἰ καὶ οὕτως λαλοῦμεν:

We-had-come-to-be-conduced moreover about of-ye, Excessed-off-unto, to-the-ones to-superior and to-being-held of-a-savioring-unto, if and unto-the-one-this we-speak-unto;
