For the land which hath drunk the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receiveth blessing from God:

Forª the earthª which² drinketh inª° the¹ rainª that comethª° oftª uponª it,ª andª bringeth forthª° herbsª meetª for themª² byª whomª it is¹ dressed,ª° receivethª° blessingª fromª God:ª

For the earth that hath drank the rain which hath come upon it many times, and shall have brought forth the herb that is useful for them on whose account it is cultured, receiveth blessing from Aloha;

For the earth that drinketh the rain which cometh often upon it, and produceth the herb that is of use to those for whom it is cultivated, receiveth a blessing from God.

γῆ γὰρ ἡ πιοῦσα τὸν ἐπ' αὐτῆς ἐρχόμενον πολλάκις ὑετόν, καὶ τίκτουσα βοτάνην εὔθετον ἐκείνοις δι' οὓς καὶ γεωργεῖται, μεταλαμβάνει εὐλογίας ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ:

A-soil therefore the-one having-had-drank to-the-one upon of-it to-coming much-oft to-a-rain, and producing to-a-pasturage to-goodly-placed unto-the-ones-thither through to-which and it-be-soil-worked-unto, it-taketh-with of-a-goodly-fortheeing-unto off of-the-one of-a-Deity;
