Wherefore I was displeased with this generation, And said, They do always err in their heart: But they did not know my ways;

Whereforeª I was grievedª° with thatª generation,ª andª said,ª° They do²° alwayª errª° in [their] heart;ª andª theyª have²° notª knownª° myª ways.ª

Whereforeª I was grieuedª° with thatª generation,ª andª sayd,ª° They doe²° alwayª erreª° in their hearts,ª andª theyª haue²° notª knowenª° myª wayes.ª

On which account I was wearied with that generation; and said, It is a people that doth err (in) their heart, and that hath not known my ways.

Therefore I was disgusted with that generation, and said: This is a people, whose heart wandereth, and they have not known my ways:

διὸ προσώχθισα τῇ γενεᾷ ταύτῃ καὶ εἶπον Ἀεὶ πλανῶνται τῇ καρδίᾳ: αὐτοὶ δὲ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν τὰς ὁδούς μου:

through-which I-vexed-toward-to unto-the-one unto-a-generation unto-the-one-this and I-had-said, Ever-if they-be-wandered-unto unto-the-one unto-a-heart; them moreover not they-had-acquainted to-the-ones to-ways of-me;
