Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men.

Wherefore it is said, He ascended on high; He led captive captivity, And gave gifts unto men.

διὸ λέγει Ἀναβὰς εἰς ὕψος ᾐχμαλώτευσεν αἰχμαλωσίαν, [καὶ] ἔδωκεν δόματα τοῖς ἀνθρώποις.

Through-which it-fortheth, Having-had-stepped-up into to-an-overance it-spear-captured-of to-a-spear-capturing-unto, [and] it-gave to-givings-to unto-the-ones unto-mankinds.
