[Let] each man [do] according as he hath purposed in his heart: not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Euerie manª according asª he purposethª° in his heart,ª [so let him giue]; notª grudgingly,ªª orª ofª necessitie:ª forª Godª louethª° a cheerefullª giuer.ª

Every man as he hath in his mind: not as of vexation or as of constraint; for a cheerful giver the Lord loveth.

Every man, according to his own views, not with sadness, not by constraint: for the Lord loveth a joyous giver.

ἕκαστος καθὼς προῄρηται τῇ καρδίᾳ, μὴ ἐκ λύπης ἢ ἐξ ἀνάγκης, ἱλαρὸν γὰρ δότην ἀγαπᾷ ὁ θεός.

Each down-as it-had-come-to-lift-before-unto unto-the-one unto-a-heart, lest out of-a-saddening or out of-an-arming-up; to-conciliated therefore to-a-giver it-excesseth-off-unto, the-one a-Deity.
