But I have sent the brethren, that our glorying on your behalf may not be made void in this respect; that, even as I said, ye may be prepared:

Yetª have I sentª° the¹ brethren,ª lestª ourª boastingª ofª youª should be in vainª° inª thisª behalf;ª that,ª asª I said,ª° ye may beª° ready:ª°

Yetª haue I sentª° the¹ brethren,ª leastª ourª boastingª ofª youª should bee in vaineª° inª thisª behalfe,ª thatª asª I saide,ª° yee may beª° readie.ª°

But I have sent the brethren to you, that our boasting which we boasted of you may not in this affair be vain; but, as I have said, you may be ready:

Yet I sent the brethren, lest the glorying with which we have gloried in you in regard to this matter, should prove vain; and that ye, as I said, may be ready;

ἔπεμψα δὲ τοὺς ἀδελφούς, ἵνα μὴ τὸ καύχημα ἡμῶν τὸ ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν κενωθῇ ἐν τῷ μέρει τούτῳ, ἵνα καθὼς ἔλεγον παρεσκευασμένοι ἦτε,

I-dispatched moreover to-the-ones to-brethrened, so lest the-one a-boasting-to of-us the-one over of-ye it-might-have-been-en-emptied in unto-the-one unto-a-portion unto-the-one-this, so down-as I-was-forthing having-had-come-to-be-beside-equipped-to ye-might-be,
