So although I wrote unto you, I [wrote] not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be made manifest unto you in the sight of God.

Wherefore,ª thoughª I wroteª° unto you,ª [I did it] notª for his causeª that had done the wrong,ª° norª for his causeª that suffered wrong,ª° butª that² ourª careª forª youª in the sightª of Godª might appearª° untoª you.ª

Whereforeª thoughª I wroteª° vnto you,ª I [did it] notª for his causeª that had done the wrong,ª° norª for his causeª that suffered wrong,ª° butª that² ourª careª forª youª in the sightª of Godª might appeareª° vntoª you.ª

But, it was for this we wrote to you; not on account of the injurer, nor on account of the injured one [only], but that you may know before Aloha our carefulness over you.

And it will be [seen] that I wrote to you, not for the sake of him who did the wrong, nor for the sake of him who received the wrong, [only,] but that your solicitude in respect to us might be known before God.

ἄρα εἰ καὶ ἔγραψα ὑμῖν, οὐχ ἕνεκεν τοῦ ἀδικήσαντος, [ἀλλ'] οὐδὲ ἕνεκεν τοῦ ἀδικηθέντος, ἀλλ' ἕνεκεν τοῦ φανερωθῆναι τὴν σπουδὴν ὑμῶν τὴν ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ.

Thus if and I-scribed unto-ye, not in-out-in of-the-one of-having-un-coursed-unto, [other] not-moreover in-out-in of-the-one of-having-been-un-coursed-unto, other in-out-in of-the-one to-have-been-en-manifested to-the-one to-a-hastening of-ye to-the-one under of-us toward to-ye in-looked of-the-one of-a-Deity.
