yea, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raiseth the dead:

Butª² we¹ hadª° the¹ sentenceª of deathª inª ourselves,ª that²°¹ we should²°¹ not²¹ trustª° inª ourselves,ª²° butª inª Godª which² raisethª° the¹ dead:ª

and because of these we had concluded (for) death; that we should not have hope in ourselves, but in Aloha, who raiseth the dead:

And we passed a sentence of death upon ourselves, that our confidence might not be in ourselves, but in God, who raiseth up the dead;

ἀλλὰ αὐτοὶ ἐν ἑαυτοῖς τὸ ἀπόκριμα τοῦ θανάτου ἐσχήκαμεν, ἵνα μὴ πεποιθότες ὦμεν ἐφ' ἑαυτοῖς ἀλλ' ἐπὶ τῷ θεῷ τῷ ἐγείροντι τοὺς νεκρούς:

other them in unto-selves to-the-one to-a-separating-off-to of-the-one of-a-death we-had-come-to-hold, so lest having-hath-had-come-to-conduce we-might-be upon unto-selves, other upon unto-the-one unto-a-Deity unto-the-one unto-rousing to-the-ones to-en-deaded;
