What say I then? that a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

What then do I say? that an idol is any thing, or (that) the sacrifice of an idol is any thing? No:

What then do I say? That an idol is any thing? Or, that an idol's sacrifice is any thing? No.

τί οὖν φημί; ὅτι εἰδωλόθυτόν τί ἐστιν, ἢ ὅτι εἴδωλόν τί ἐστιν;

To-what-one accordingly I-declare? To-which-a-one image-surged a-one it-be, or to-which-a-one an-image a-one it-be?
