and the base things of the world, and the things that are despised, did God choose, [yea] and the things that are not, that he might bring to nought the things that are:

and he hath chosen those of low birth in the world, and the outcasts, and those who are nothing, to bring to nothing those who are;

and he hath chosen those of humble birth in the world, and the despised, and them who are nothing, to bring to naught them who are something:

καὶ τὰ ἀγενῆ τοῦ κόσμου καὶ τὰ ἐξουθενημένα ἐξελέξατο ὁ θεός, [καὶ] τὰ μὴ ὄντα, ἵνα τὰ ὄντα καταργήσῃ,

and to-the-ones to-un-kindreded of-the-one of-a-configuration and to-the-ones to-having-had-come-to-be-not-from-oned-out-unto it-forthed-out, the-one a-Deity, [and] to-the-ones lest to-being, so to-the-ones to-being it-might-have-un-worked-down-unto,
