for he is a minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is a minister of God, an avenger for wrath to him that doeth evil.

For he is the minister of God; but it is to thee for good. But if thou doest evil, be afraid; for he is not girded with the sword in vain; for he is a minister of God, and an avenger of wrath to them that do evil things.

θεοῦ γὰρ διάκονός ἐστιν σοὶ εἰς τὸ ἀγαθόν. ἐὰν δὲ τὸ κακὸν ποιῇς, φοβοῦ: οὐ γὰρ εἰκῇ τὴν μάχαιραν φορεῖ: θεοῦ γὰρ διάκονός ἐστιν, ἔκδικος εἰς ὀργὴν τῷ τὸ κακὸν πράσσοντι.

of-a-Deity therefore a-raiser-through it-be unto-THEE into to-the-one to-good. If-ever moreover to-the-one to-disrupted thou-might-do-unto thou-should-fearee-unto; not therefore unto-resembled to-the-one to-a-knife it-beareeth-unto; of-a-Deity therefore a-raiser-through it-be coursed-out into to-a-stressing unto-the-one to-the-one to-disruptive unto-practicing.
