So then he hath mercy on whom he will, and whom he will be hardeneth.

Thereforeªª hath he mercyª° on whomª he willª° [have mercy], andª whomª he willª° he hardeneth.ª°

Thereforeªª hath hee mercieª° on whomª hee willª° haue mercy, andª whomª he will,ª° he hardeneth.ª°

Then upon whom he willeth he is merciful, and whom he willeth he hardeneth.

Wherefore, he hath pity upon whom he pleaseth; and whom he pleaseth, he hardeneth.

ἄρα οὖν ὃν θέλει ἐλεεῖ, ὃν δὲ θέλει σκληρύνει.

Thus accordingly to-which it-determineth it-compassioneth-unto, to-which moreover it-determineth it-stiffeneth.
