before her sons were born, and had not wrought good or evil, the (choice) of Aloha was (made) known before that it should remain: not by works, but by him who called:

μήπω γὰρ γεννηθέντων μηδὲ πραξάντων τι ἀγαθὸν ἢ φαῦλον, ἵνα ἡ κατ' ἐκλογὴν πρόθεσις τοῦ θεοῦ μένῃ,

lest-unto-whither therefore of-having-been-generated-unto lest-moreover of-having-practiced to-a-one to-good or to-pettied, so the-one down to-a-fortheeing-out a-placing-before of-the-one of-a-Deity it-might-stay,
