So then if, while the husband liveth, she be joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if the husband die, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she be joined to another man.

So¹ thenª² if,ª while [her] husbandª liveth,ª° she be marriedª° to anotherª man,ª she shall be calledª° an adulteress:ª butª ifª her husbandª be dead,ª° she isª° freeª fromª that law;ª so that sheª isª° noª adulteress,ª though she be marriedª° to anotherª man.ª

So¹ thenª² ifª while her husbandª liueth,ª° shee be marriedª° to anotherª man,ª shee shalbe calledª° an adulteresse:ª butª ifª her husbandª be dead,ª° shee isª° freeª fromª that law,ª so that sheª isª° noª adulteresse,ª though she be marriedª° to anotherª man.ª

But if, while her husband lives, she adhere to another man, she becometh an adulteress; but if her husband shall die, she is freed from the law, and is not an adulteress, though she become (the wife) of another man.

And if, while her husband is alive, she should adhere to another man, she would become an adulteress: but if her husband should die, she is freed from the law; and would not be an adulteress though joined to another man.

ἄρα οὖν ζῶντος τοῦ ἀνδρὸς μοιχαλὶς χρηματίσει ἐὰν γένηται ἀνδρὶ ἑτέρῳ: ἐὰν δὲ ἀποθάνῃ ὁ ἀνήρ, ἐλευθέρα ἐστὶν ἀπὸ τοῦ νόμου, τοῦ μὴ εἶναι αὐτὴν μοιχαλίδα γενομένην ἀνδρὶ ἑτέρῳ.

Thus accordingly of-lifing-unto of-the-one of-a-man an-adulteress it-shall-afford-to if-ever it-might-have-became unto-a-man unto-different. If-ever moreover it-might-have-had-died-off, the-one a-man, en-freed it-be off of-the-one of-a-parcelee, of-the-one lest to-be to-it to-an-adulteress to-having-had-became unto-a-man unto-different.
