And when he had given him leave, Paul, standing on the stairs, beckoned with the hand unto the people; and when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew language, saying,

Andª when he¹ had given²° him² licence,ª° Paulª stoodª° onª the¹ stairs,ª and beckoned²°¹ with the¹ handª unto the¹ people.ª Andª when there was madeª° a greatª silence,ª he spake²° unto¹ [them] in the¹ Hebrewª tongue,ª saying,ª°

Andª when he¹ had giuen²° him² licence,ª° Paulª stoodª° onª the¹ staires,ª and beckened²°¹ with the¹ handª vnto the¹ people:ª andª when there was madeª° a greatª silence,ª he spake²° vnto¹ them in the¹ Hebrewª tongue,ª saying.ª°

And when he had permitted him, Paulos stood upon the stairs, and signed to them with his hand; and when they had ceased, he spoke to them in Hebrew, and said to them,

And when he permitted him, Paul stood upon the stairs, and waved to them his hand; and when they were quiet, he addressed them in Hebrew, and said to them:

ἐπιτρέψαντος δὲ αὐτοῦ ὁ Παῦλος ἑστὼς ἐπὶ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν κατέσεισε τῇ χειρὶ τῷ λαῷ, πολλῆς δὲ σιγῆς γενομένης προσεφώνησεν τῇ Ἐβραΐδι διαλέκτῳ λέγων

Of-having-turned-upon moreover of-it the-one a-Paulos having-had-come-to-stand upon of-the-ones of-steppings-up-of it-shook-down unto-the-one unto-a-hand unto-the-one unto-a-people, of-much moreover of-a-silencing of-having-had-became it-sounded-toward-unto unto-the-one unto-a-Hebrew unto-forthable-through forthing,
