And when we had come in sight of Cyprus, leaving it on the left hand, we sailed unto Syria, and landed at Tyre; for there the ship was to unlade her burden.

Nowª when we had discoveredª° Cyprus,ª² we¹ leftª° itª on the left hand,ª and sailedª° intoª Syria,ª andª landedª° atª Tyre:ª forª thereª the¹ shipª wasª° to unladeª° her burden.ª

And coming near Kypros the island, we left it on the left hand and came unto Syria, and thence came we to Tsur: for there was the ship to relieve from her burden.

And we came up with the island of Cyprus, and leaving it on the left we came to Syria; and from there we went to Tyre, for there the ship was to discharge her cargo.

ἀναφάναντες δὲ τὴν Κύπρον καὶ καταλιπόντες αὐτὴν εὐώνυμον ἐπλέομεν εἰς Συρίαν, καὶ κατήλθομεν εἰς Τύρον, ἐκεῖσε γὰρ τὸ πλοῖον ἦν ἀποφορτιζόμενον τὸν γόμον.

Having-had-manifested-up moreover to-the-one to-a-Kupros and having-had-remaindered-down to-it to-goodly-named we-were-floating-unto into to-a-Suria, and we-had-came-down into to-a-Turos, thither-to therefore the-one a-floatlet it-was lading-off-to to-the-one to-a-saturatee.
