Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and device of man.

Forasmuch thenª as we areª° the offspringª of God,ª we oughtª° notª to thinkª° that the¹ Godheadª isª° like² unto¹ gold,ª orª silver,ª orª stone,ª gravenª by artª andª man'sª device.ª

Men, therefore, whose descent is from Aloha, should not think that gold or silver or stone sculptured by the art and skill of man is like the Divinity.

Therefore we, whose descent is from God, ought not to suppose that the Deity hath the likeness of gold, or silver, or stone, sculptured by the art and skill of men

γένος οὖν ὑπάρχοντες τοῦ θεοῦ οὐκ ὀφείλομεν νομίζειν χρυσῷ ἢ ἀργύρῳ ἢ λίθῳ, χαράγματι τέχνης καὶ ἐνθυμήσεως ἀνθρώπου, τὸ θεῖον εἶναι ὅμοιον.

To-a-kindred accordingly firsting-under of-the-one of-a-Deity not we-debt to-parcelee-to unto-a-gold or unto-a-silver or unto-a-stone, unto-a-graving-to of-a-crafting and of-a-passioning-in of-a-mankind, to-the-one to-deity-belonged to-be to-along-belonged.
