And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, even as on us at the beginning.

And when I proceeded to speak there, the Spirit of Holiness overshadowed them, as upon us from the beginning.

And when I there commenced speaking, the Holy Spirit overshadowed them, as it did us from the beginning.

ἐν δὲ τῷ ἄρξασθαί με λαλεῖν ἐπέπεσεν τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον ἐπ' αὐτοὺς ὥσπερ καὶ ἐφ' ἡμᾶς ἐν ἀρχῇ.

In moreover unto-the-one to-have-firsted to-me to-speak-unto it-had-fallen-upon, the-one a-currenting-to the-one hallow-belonged, upon to-them as-very and upon to-us in unto-a-firsting.
