I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, a certain vessel descending, as it were a great sheet let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even unto me:

Iª wasª° inª the cityª of Joppaª praying:ª° andª inª a tranceª I sawª° a vision,ª A certainª vesselª descend,ª° as it had beenª a greatª sheet,ª let downª° fromª heavenª by fourª corners;ª andª it cameª° even² to¹ me:ª

That while praying in Joppa I saw a vision; a certain vessel descended which was like to a sheet, and bound at the four corners: and it came down from heaven and came unto me.

As I was in Joppa, praying, I saw in vision, that a certain vessel descended, which was like a sheet, and it was tied at its four corners; and it descended from heaven and came to me.

Ἐγὼ ἤμην ἐν πόλει Ἰόππῃ προσευχόμενος καὶ εἶδον ἐν ἐκστάσει ὅραμα, καταβαῖνον σκεῦός τι ὡς ὀθόνην μεγάλην τέσσαρσιν ἀρχαῖς καθιεμένην ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, καὶ ἦλθεν ἄχρι ἐμοῦ:

I I-was in unto-a-city unto-an-Ioppe goodly-holding-toward and I-had-seen in unto-a-standing-out to-a-discerning-to, to-stepping-down to-an-equipment to-a-one as to-a-sheet to-great unto-four unto-firstings to-being-sent-down out of-the-one of-a-sky, and it-had-came unto-whilst of-ME;
