And they said, Cornelius a centurion, a righteous man and one that feareth God, and well reported of by all the nation of the Jews, was warned [of God] by a holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words from thee.

Andª they¹ said,ª° Corneliusª the centurion,ª a justª man,ª andª one that fearethª° God,ª andª of good reportª° amongª allª the¹ nationª of the¹ Jews,ª was warned from Godª° byª an holyª angelª to send²° for¹ theeª intoª his²¹ house,ª andª to hearª° wordsª ofª thee.ª

Andª they¹ saide,ª° Corneliusª the Centurion,ª a iustª man,ª andª one that fearethª° God,ª andª of good reportª° amongª allª the¹ nationª of the¹ Iewes,ª was warned from Godª° byª an holyª Angel,ª to send²° for¹ theeª intoª his²¹ house,ª andª to heareª° wordsª ofª thee.ª

They said to him, A certain man whose name is Cornelius, a centurion, who feareth Aloha, and of whom all the people of the Jihudoyee give witness, hath been told in a vision by an holy angel to send and bring thee to his house, and to hear words from thee.

οἱ δὲ εἶπαν Κορνήλιος ἑκατοντάρχης, ἀνὴρ δίκαιος καὶ φοβούμενος τὸν θεὸν μαρτυρούμενός τε ὑπὸ ὅλου τοῦ ἔθνους τῶν Ἰουδαίων, ἐχρηματίσθη ὑπὸ ἀγγέλου ἁγίου μεταπέμψασθαί σε εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀκοῦσαι ῥήματα παρὰ σοῦ.
