And Peter went down to the men, and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?

Then Shemun descended to those men, and said to them, I am he whom you seek: what is the occasion on which you have come?

Then Simon went down to the men, and said to them: I am he for whom ye inquire: what is the cause for which ye have come?

καταβὰς δὲ Πέτρος πρὸς τοὺς ἄνδρας εἶπεν Ἰδοὺ ἐγώ εἰμι ὃν ζητεῖτε: τίς ἡ αἰτία δι' ἣν πάρεστε;
