And as they went on the way, they came unto a certain water; and the eunuch saith, Behold, [here is] water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

Andª asª they wentª° onª [their] way,ª they cameª° untoª a certainª water:ª andª the¹ eunuchª said,ª° See,ª° [here is] water;ª whatª doth hinderª° meª to be baptized?ª°

And as they went in the way they came to a certain place which had water in it, and that eunuch said, Behold the water; what is the hinderance that I should be baptized?

And as they proceeded on the way, they came to a certain place in which there was water. And the eunuch said: Lo, [here is] water; what doth forbid, that I should be baptized?

ὡς δὲ ἐπορεύοντο κατὰ τὴν ὁδόν, ἦλθον ἐπί τι ὕδωρ, καί φησιν ὁ εὐνοῦχος Ἰδοὺ ὕδωρ: τί κωλύει με βαπτισθῆναι;

As moreover they-were-traversing-of down to-the-one to-way, they-had-came upon to-a-one to-a-water, and it-declareth, the-one a-bed-holder, Thou-should-have-had-seen, a-water; What-one it-preventeth to-me to-have-been-immersed-to?
