And God spake on this wise, that his seed should sojourn in a strange land, and that they should bring them into bondage, and treat them ill, four hundred years.

Andª Godª spakeª° on this wise,ª Thatª hisª seedª shouldª° sojournª inª a strangeª land;ª andª that they should bring²° them² into bondage,ª°¹ andª entreat [them] evilª° four hundredª years.ª

And Aloha spake with him, telling him that his seed should be a sojourner in a strange land, and that they would enslave and ill-treat them four hundred years.

And God conversed with him, and said to him: Thy seed will be a sojourner in a foreign land; and they will reduce it to servitude, and will treat it ill, during four hundred years.

ἐλάλησεν δὲ οὕτως ὁ θεὸς ὅτι ἔσται τὸ σπέρμα αὐτοῦ πάροικον ἐν γῇ ἀλλοτρίᾳ, καὶ δουλώσουσιν αὐτὸ καὶ κακώσουσιν ἔτη τετρακόσια:

It-spoke-unto moreover unto-the-one-this, the-one a-Deity, to-which-a-one it-shall-be the-one a-whorling-to of-it housed-beside in unto-a-soil unto-other-belonged, and they-shall-en-bondee to-it and they-shall-en-disrupt to-years to-four-hundred;
