and he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: and he promised that he would give it to him in possession, and to his seed after him, when [as yet] he had no child.

And (yet) he gave him no inheritance in it, nor a place of the feet, but he promised to give it to him for an heritage to himself and to his seed, while as yet he had not a son.

καὶ οὐκ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ κληρονομίαν ἐν αὐτῇ οὐδὲ βῆμα ποδός, καὶ ἐπηγγείλατο δοῦναι αὐτῷ εἰς κατάσχεσιν αὐτὴν καὶ τῷ σπέρματι αὐτοῦ μετ' αὐτόν, οὐκ ὄντος αὐτῷ τέκνου.

and not it-gave unto-it to-a-lot-parceleeing-unto in unto-it not-moreover to-a-stepping-to of-a-foot, and it-messaged-upon to-have-had-given unto-it into to-a-holding-down to-it and unto-the-one unto-a-whorling-to of-it with to-it, not of-being unto-it of-a-producee.
