But ye denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted unto you,

Butª yeª deniedª° the¹ Holy Oneª andª the Just,ª andª desiredª° a¹ murdererª² to be grantedª° unto you;ª

Butª yeª deniedª° the¹ Holy one,ª andª the Iust,ª andª desiredª° a¹ murdererª² to be grantedª° vnto you,ª

but you the Holy and the Just denied, and demanded for you the man the murderer to be given to you.

But ye denied the holy and just One, and demanded that a murderer should be released to you.

ὑμεῖς δὲ τὸν ἅγιον καὶ δίκαιον ἠρνήσασθε, καὶ ᾐτήσασθε ἄνδρα φονέα χαρισθῆναι ὑμῖν,

ye moreover to-the-one to-hallow-belonged and to-course-belonged ye-denied-unto, and ye-appealed-unto to-a-man to-a-slayer-of to-have-been-granted-to unto-ye,
