They then that received his word were baptized: and there were added [unto them] in that day about three thousand souls.

And some of them eagerly received his word and believed and were baptized, and there were added in that day as three thousand souls.

Οἱ μὲν οὖν ἀποδεξάμενοι τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ ἐβαπτίσθησαν, καὶ προσετέθησαν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ψυχαὶ ὡσεὶ τρισχίλιαι.

The-ones indeed accordingly having-received-off to-the-one to-a-forthee of-it they-were-immersed-to, and they-were-placed-toward in unto-the-one unto-a-day unto-the-one-thither, breathings as-if three-thousand.
