Being therefore a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins he would set [one] upon his throne;

Thereforeª beingª° a prophet,ª andª knowingª° thatª Godª had swornª° with an oathª to him,ª that ofª the fruitª of hisª loins,ª according toª the flesh,ª he would raise upª° Christª to sitª° onª hisª throne;ª

For he was a prophet, and knew that the oath Aloha had sworn to him, Of the fruit of thy loins I will cause to sit upon thy throne:

For he was a prophet, and he knew, that God had sworn to him by an oath: Of the fruit of thy bowels, I will seat [one] on thy throne.

προφήτης οὖν ὑπάρχων, καὶ εἰδὼς ὅτι ὅρκῳ ὤμοσεν αὐτῷ ὁ θεὸς ἐκ καρποῦ τῆς ὀσφύος αὐτοῦ καθίσαι ἐπὶ τὸν θρόνον αὐτοῦ,

a-declarer-before accordingly firsting-under, and having-had-come-to-see to-which-a-one unto-a-fencee it-oathed unto-it, the-one a-Deity, out of-a-fruit of-the-one of-a-loin of-it to-have-sat-down-to upon to-the-one to-a-throne of-it,
