For some thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus said unto him, Buy what things we have need of for the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

Forª someª [of them] thought,ª° becauseª Judasª hadª° the¹ bag,ª thatª Jesusª had saidª° unto him,ª Buyª° [those things] thatª we haveª° need¹ of² againstª the¹ feast;ª or,ª thatª he should giveª° somethingª to the¹ poor.ª

Forª someª of them thought,ª° becauseª Iudasª hadª° the¹ bagge,ª thatª Iesusª had saydª° vnto him,ª Buyª° those things thatª wee haueª° need¹ of² againstª the¹ feast:ª orª thatª he should giueª° some thingª to the¹ poore.ª

For some of them thought that as Jihuda had the purse, he had instructed him to buy something that should be required at the feast, or that he should give somewhat to the poor.

For some of them supposed, because the purse was in the hands of Judas, that Jesus expressly charged him to buy something needful for the feast, or that he should give something to the poor.

τινὲς γὰρ ἐδόκουν, ἐπεὶ τὸ γλωσσόκομον εἶχεν Ἰούδας, ὅτι λέγει αὐτῷ Ἰησοῦς Ἀγόρασον ὧν χρείαν ἔχομεν εἰς τὴν ἑορτήν, ἢ τοῖς πτωχοῖς ἵνα τι δῷ.

ones therefore they-were-thinking-unto upon-if to-the-one to-tongue-tended it-was-holding, an-Ioudas, to-which-a-one it-fortheth unto-it, an-Iesous, Thou-should-have-gathered-to of-which to-an-affording-of we-hold into to-the-one to-a-festival, or unto-the-ones unto-beggared so to-a-one thou-might-have-had-given.
