These things spake he: and after this he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus is fallen asleep; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

These thingsª saidª° he:² andª afterª thatª he saithª° unto them,ª Ourª friendª Lazarusª sleepeth;ª° butª I go,ª° thatª I may awake²° him² out of sleep.ª°¹

These thingsª saidª° hee,² andª afterª that,ª hee saithª° vnto them,ª Ourª friendª Lazarusª sleepeth,ª° butª I goe,ª° thatª I may awake²° him² out of sleepe.ª°¹

These spake Jeshu; and afterwards he said to them, Loózar our friend reposeth; but I go to awake him.

These things said Jesus, and afterwards he said to them: Lazarus our friend reposeth. But I go to awake him.

ταῦτα εἶπεν, καὶ μετὰ τοῦτο λέγει αὐτοῖς Λάζαρος ὁ φίλος ἡμῶν κεκοίμηται, ἀλλὰ πορεύομαι ἵνα ἐξυπνίσω αὐτόν.
