Therefore doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.

Thereforeªª doth²° my Fatherª loveª° me,ª becauseª Iª lay downª° myª life,ª thatª I might takeª° itª again.ª

On this account my Father loveth me, because I lay down my life again to take it.

διὰ τοῦτό με ὁ πατὴρ ἀγαπᾷ ὅτι ἐγὼ τίθημι τὴν ψυχήν μου, ἵνα πάλιν λάβω αὐτήν.
