The Jews said unto him, Now we know that thou hast a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my word, he shall never taste of death.

Thenª saidª° the¹ Jewsª unto him,ª Nowª we knowª° thatª thou hastª° a devil.ª Abrahamª is dead,ª° andª the¹ prophets;ª andª thouª sayest,ª° Ifª a manª keepª° myª saying,ª he shall²° neverªªª tasteª° of death.ª

Thenª saidª° the¹ Iewesª vnto him,ª Nowª we knowª° thatª thou hastª° a deuill.ª Abrahamª is dead,ª° andª the¹ Prophets:ª andª thouª sayest,ª° Ifª a manª keepeª° myª saying,ª he shall²° neuerªªª tasteª° of death.ª

The Jihudoyee say to him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, that he who thy word keepeth, death shall not taste for ever.

The Jews say to him: Now we know, that thou hast a demon. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; yet thou sayest: He that keepeth my word, will never taste death.

εἶπαν αὐτῷ οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι Νῦν ἐγνώκαμεν ὅτι δαιμόνιον ἔχεις. Ἀβραὰμ ἀπέθανεν καὶ οἱ προφῆται, καὶ σὺ λέγεις Ἐάν τις τὸν λόγον μου τηρήσῃ, οὐ μὴ γεύσηται θανάτου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα:

They-said unto-it, the-ones Iouda-belonged, Now we-had-come-to-acquaint to-which-a-one to-a-daimonlet thou-hold. An-Abraam it-had-died-off and the-ones declarers-before, and thou thou-forth, If-ever a-one to-the-one to-a-forthee of-me it-might-have-kept-unto, not lest it-might-have-tasted-of of-a-death into to-the-one to-an-age;
