They answered and said unto him, Our father is Abraham. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

They answeredª° andª saidª° unto him,ª Abrahamª isª° ourª father.ª Jesusª saithª° unto them,ª Ifª ye wereª° Abraham'sª children,ª ye would doªª° the¹ worksª of Abraham.ª

They answered,ª° andª saidª° vnto him,ª Abrahamª isª° ourª father.ª Iesusª saythª° vnto them,ª Ifª yee wereª° Abrahamsª children,ª ye would doeªª° the¹ worksª of Abraham.ª

They answered and said to him, Our father is Abraham. Jeshu saith to them, If you were the sons of Abraham, the works of Abraham you would do.

They answered, and said to him: Our father is Abraham. Jesus said to them: If ye were children of Abraham, ye would do the works of Abraham.

ἀπεκρίθησαν καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ Ὁ πατὴρ ἡμῶν Ἀβραάμ ἐστιν. λέγει αὐτοῖς [ὁ] Ἰησοῦς Εἰ τέκνα τοῦ Ἀβραάμ ἐστε, τὰ ἔργα τοῦ Ἀβραὰμ ποιεῖτε:

They-were-separated-off and they-said unto-it, The-one a-father of-us an-Abraam it-be. It-fortheth unto-them, [the-one] an-Iesous, If producees of-the-one of-an-Abraam ye-be, to-the-ones to-works of-the-one of-an-Abraam ye-should-do-unto;
