Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Every one that committeth sin is the bondservant of sin.

Jeshu saith to them, Amen I tell you, Whoever doeth sin is the servant of sin.

Jesus said to them: Verily, verily, I say to you, That whoever committeth sin, is the servant of sin.

ἀπεκρίθη αὐτοῖς [ὁ] Ἰησοῦς Ἀμὴν ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι πᾶς ὁ ποιῶν τὴν ἁμαρτίαν δοῦλός ἐστιν [τῆς ἁμαρτίας]:
