They said therefore unto him, Who art thou? Jesus said unto them, Even that which I have also spoken unto you from the beginning.

Thenª said¹ they²° unto him,ª Whoª artª° thou?ª Andª Jesusª saithª° unto them,ª Evenª² [the same] that¹ I saidª° unto youª from the¹ beginning.ª

The Jihudoyee say, Who art thou? Jeshu saith to them, The same that I began to tell you.

The Jews said to him: Who art thou? Jesus said to them: Although I have begun to converse with you,

ἔλεγον οὖν αὐτῷ Σὺ τίς εἶ; εἶπεν αὐτοῖς [ὁ] Ἰησοῦς Τὴν ἀρχὴν ὅτι καὶ λαλῶ ὑμῖν;

They-were-forthing accordingly unto-it, Thou what-one thou-be? It-had-said unto-them, [the-one] an-Iesous, To-the-one to-a-firsting to-which-a-one and I-speak-unto unto-ye?
